who am i?

hello! my name is valerie and i am a graduate from the university of toronto. i double majored in communications, culture, information, technology and english, with a minor in cinema studies. i also have a digital communications certificate from sheridan college, a degree that is partnered with uoft.

communications, culture, information, technology is a really broad term. i studied seo, social media marketing, how social media interacts with our daily users, and the impact it has on individuals, circles, and the mass public. i also studied videography, animation, and graphic comics. i worked with programs such as after effects and premiere pro.

i am a videographer. i first started taking interest in film when i was exposed to it during the international baccalaureate program where i took film higher level. through that, i learnt the history of film, the process of creating film, and the approach in critiquing film. 

i am a graphic designer. i enjoy designing through photoshop and most recently, illustrator. i have worked with several companies that helped elevate my skills to get me to where i am today.
